Bäderbau is a company of the Berndorf
AG group and belongs to the technology division of the group.
In 1843, the "Austrian Imperial and Royal Private Metal Goods Factory" was founded by the industrialists
Hermann Krupp and Alexander Schoeller. The company became known for its industrial production of cutlery,
the first in the world, and survived the world wars and various restructuring processes. In 1987/88 it was hived off from the
United Metalworks Ranshofen - Berndorf AG and was subsequently privatised by means of a
management buyout.
The result of this restructuring was Berndorf AG under the leadership of Norbert Zimmermann.
Berndorf AG and each of its subsidiaries present themselves today as independent, nationally and internationally active companies in the investment
goods industry. The priorities of the business segments are
to be found in the stainless steel processing industry, and each of them is the market leader in its sector.
Berndorf Bäderbau has been a leading producer of swimming pool . In the first decade, all of the swimming pools were manufactured using aluminium.
At the start of the seventies, product development led to the industrial production of stainless steel swimming pools.

optical characteristics, especially for pool construction in the municipal sector. Our position as market leader could only be achieved by means of mature
technical solutions, modern production methods and highly-motivated und customer-orientated staff.
The management of the company and the production facilities of Berndorf Bäderbau are located in Berndorf in Lower Austria, as are the group's
headquarters. Around150 employees create an annual turnover of EUR 20 - 25 million.
